About Us

Sangudo Playground

Early in 2006, a group of interested citizens came together to ensure the sustainability of our community.  In April 2007, Sangudo & District Community Development Council (SDCDC) was registered as a Society.

SDCDC is a volunteer organization.  It is comprised of dedicated individuals committed to improving the community of Sangudo.  Its function is to:

  • Enhance the Quality of Life for residents of the Sangudo area;
  • Promote Sangudo and Region;
  • Encourage Economic Development;
  • Secure School K-9;
  • Promote a sense of pride in our Community.

Meetings are held quarterly. See the Contact Us button at left to get more details. Annual membership is $5.  Everyone is welcome.

SDCDC submitted an application to ARPA (Alberta Recreation & Parks) and in September 2008, Sangudo was chosen as an Active, Creative, Engaged (ACE) community.
