All are welcome to join us for a BioBlitz using iNaturalist on Sunday, May 31st, 2026!
Take part in a community effort to record as many species as we can in one afternoon. Our Artist in Residence Lisa Matthias and special guest Richard Caners, Botany Curator at the Royal Alberta Museum, will be on hand to help us learn to identify local flora and fauna. Learn how to use iNaturalist and other useful identification tools and apps. Step into the log home to see an exhibition of Lisa’s art. Children can get creative with a make-and-take art activity.
Admission is by donation. Drop-in for planned activities from 1:00-4:00PM. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic and have lunch on the lawn. There will be light snacks and beverages for sale by donation.
